K4P POTLUCK PARTY
DATE: Saturday, April 3rd

Come and celebrate Passover and join friends new and old at YPK's K4P (Kosher-for-Passover) Potluck Party! Please bring a vegetarian/dairy/parve dish to share (no meat). Dishes can be Ashkenazi or Sephardic style. We'll even provide labels for you to describe your dish - so please be as creative as you like. Email Jeremy at social@jewishfriends.org to RSVP. With your email, please include the dish you plan to bring (we need main dishes, side dishes, salads, desserts, and drinks) and if you'll need access to a stove or microwave.

Now that the Seders have come and gone, join friends new and old for YPK's Annual Post Passover Pizza Party! Help us celebrate the end of Passover by remembering all the deliciousness that bread has to offer in a matzah-free atmosphere.

YPK OFFICER NOMINATIONS AND PLANNING MEETING

It is that time of year again, and we will be taking nominations for leadership positions at our planning meeting (as well as planning events for May, June and July). Now is a great time to get more involved in the Jewish Community, by taking on a role on our Executive Board (President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary), or as a Committee Chair (Social, Religious, Membership, Community Service). We'll hold elections in May. Whether you are new or have been coming to events for some time, we encourage everyone to get involved. Involvement can range from taking on a leadership position to planning an event that you are interested in or even just offering help as you are able.

As you know, YPK is an all-volunteer group. All of the funds we collect from our low $18 membership dues are used to help pay for events, which are generally free for members. But we can only succeed with the help and participation of you, the membership, who are after all the ones that make our events successful.

If you are interested in helping out this year, have questions about the different leadership roles, or have an idea for an event, please drop us a line at social@jewishfriends.org. If you are interested or have an idea but cannot attend the meeting, please just let us know.

LASER TAG WITH NOVA YJP

KOSHER WINE TASTING AT TIKVAT ISRAEL

Come and join YPK for a tasteful evening of light fare, music, and wine, featuring a full range of fine Kosher for Passover selections. Wine tasting will be guided by expert Steve Kerbel and wine will be available for order.

Please note that this event is sponsored and run by Tikvat Israel, an Egalitarian Conservative Synagogue in Rockville, MD. This not a YPK-sponsored event.

Tikvat Israel is not within walking distance from a metro, so we will provide rides from the Twinbrook Metro Station (Red Line). Indicate in your rsvp if you will need a ride - we will depart Twinbrook no later than 7:00 P.M.

HANUKKAH PARTY

COST: FREE for members, $10 for non-members ($18 for an individual to join YPK for 12 months - $30 for a couple)

Get the Hanukkah season started with YPK's annual party at 6th & I Synagogue! Join other 20s and 30s to celebrate with snacks, drinks, and sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts). We'll have music, schmoozing, dreidels, and a cash bar! You won't want to miss YPK's biggest event of the year! And please help us give back to the community: We'll collect unwrapped toys for donation to Northern Virginia Family Services.

HANUKKAH HAPPY HOUR ON THE HILL

Join YPK for a great Hanukkah Happy Hour! We'll join Gesher City and dozens of other groups from all over the DC area for food, drinks and Hanukkah fun!
